Last updated: 22 August 2026
BITBASKET TECHNOLOGIES (“we”, “us”), a sole proprietorship of Divyam Dinesh Solanki, Shop No. 14, Arihant Tower, Mahavir Peth, Near Alibag Bank, Karjat, Raigad, Maharashtra 410201, India, is the data fiduciary for personal data collected through this website and during the delivery of our services.
This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, with whom it is shared, how long we keep it, and how it is protected. It should be read with the Terms and Conditions.
1. Data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Identity and contact: name, organisation name, email address, phone number, billing address, and registered office address you provide.
- Project data: requirements, files, credentials and content you send so that we can perform the Order.
- Billing data: invoice details, amount, currency (USD), payment status, and transaction reference provided by the payment aggregator.
- Communication data: emails, call notes and messages relating to an enquiry or Order.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring URL, if server or analytics logs are enabled. We do not currently run advertising pixels.
We do not collect card numbers, CVV, ATM PIN or full magnetic-stripe data. Card payments are entered on Razorpay’s checkout. Razorpay processes that data as a payment aggregator.
2. Why we collect it (purposes)
- To respond to enquiries and prepare quotations.
- To perform a contract: deliver services, support, and handover.
- To raise invoices, collect payment, issue receipts and process refunds.
- To detect fraud, chargebacks and misuse, and to meet KYC requests from banks or Razorpay.
- To comply with Indian tax, accounting and legal obligations.
- To improve the website based on aggregate usage, where logs exist.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use personal data for third-party advertising.
3. Legal basis
We process data because it is needed to enter into or perform a contract, because you have asked us to contact you, because we have a legitimate interest in running and securing the business, or because a law requires us to retain records. Where consent is required, we will ask for it separately.
4. Sharing
We share data only as needed:
- Payment aggregator: Razorpay and its banking partners, to process payments, refunds, disputes and settlement. Their privacy terms apply to data entered on their checkout.
- Professional advisers: accountants or lawyers, under confidentiality, for accounts and disputes.
- Infrastructure: email providers, hosting, code repositories and cloud storage used to deliver the Order.
- Authorities: courts, police, tax authorities or regulators when required by law.
We do not share data with unrelated marketers.
5. International transfers
Our office and primary records are in India. Some tools (for example email or repositories) may process data on servers outside India. Payment system data is handled according to Razorpay’s and RBI’s rules. We do not store payment-card data ourselves.
6. Retention
- Enquiry data: up to 24 months if no Order is placed, unless you ask us to delete it sooner and no legal hold applies.
- Contract, invoice and payment records: at least 8 years, in line with Indian tax record-keeping practice, or longer if a dispute is open.
- Project files: for the support period in the Order, then as needed for backups until they are overwritten.
7. Security
We use HTTPS on this website when it is served over TLS, restrict access to project files to the proprietor and any contractor bound by confidentiality, and do not store raw card data. No method of transmission is completely secure. You must also protect passwords and repository access we hand over to you.
8. Cookies
This website does not set advertising cookies. The server or browser may store a session or preference cookie only if a feature requires it. You can block cookies in your browser; the public pages will still be readable.
9. Your rights
Subject to Indian law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as applicable), you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. Write to the contact below. We may need to verify your identity and may refuse a request where we must keep records for tax, dispute or legal reasons.
10. Children
Our services are for businesses and adult customers. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Grievance Officer
For privacy complaints, contact the Grievance Officer named on the Grievance Redressal page. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours on working days and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be posted on this page.
